I really enjoyed my time with Ground Zeroes, and from everything I've seen of MGSV it's looking pretty good.

I don't suppose any of you guys know where is best to pre-order it from, ergo, how can I get a copy of this to play on bank holiday Monday!?
I decided to opt for Mad Max rather than MGS. I enjoyed ground zeroes but haven't really got the time to play that much game again but on multiple levels.

As for preordering, most of my purchases these days have been digital. Max is the first disc game I've bought since Forza Horizon 2. I didn't actually preorder either but bought it on Tuesday lunchtime and it wasn't delivered until Friday. Don't know if it was slow post or a late dispatch from whoever I got it from but it was cheap, £33.75 for a brand new release!

How are you finding Max?

I got this from Amazon in the end, and picked it up on the Tuesday. It's pretty amazing stuff. I hope any future entry to the franchise will follow this in terms of open world stealthery.
I'm enjoying Mad Max. Other than missing Mel Gibson it feels very true to the films, noisy cars through a post apocalyptic wasteland with dodgy Auzzie accents. There are a few things that could be improved upon but overall a great game. It's very similar to Shadow of Mordor and Far Cry 4 so if you liked them it's worth a try.

I will get MGS at some point but it will have to wait a while.

I also have Mad Max. Do you find out what happened to his brother, plus I'm kinda missing the environmental puzzles they had in the first game (max and the curse of brotherhood) Wink

But yeah, it's good fun, but is it just me, or is it pretty unforgiving?
The main game is fine although things can go pear shaped if a random enemy patrol turns up while you're in the middle of doing something. The storms are very unforgiving and have killed me twice with almost insta deaths. And don't even think about finishing a race on your first try, they are an exercise in frustration.
